Drink directly from water source

You currently need a water bottle to drink from water sources such as a pump or lake.

I think it would be a good idea if this was changed so you could drink directly from these sources. This way you could refresh your water meter whilst passing by and it would also simplify things when drinking at a water source (instead of having to drink your bottle then refill).

It is obviously a Brita filtered water bottle. Without the proper filtration we would obviously get dysentery. I don't want to team up with diarrhea people... <_<

Also, I think this is a good idea. Maybe it doesn't completely refill your water meter, maybe just half way? Another fix would be to change the speed in which your food/water meters decay so that you aren't drinking 72 liters of water per day (Canteens hold about .5 liters, water meter decays every 20 minutes, 3 liters per hour, 24 hours per day, 72 liters of water per day) -OR- make food/drinks have "charges," get about 3 full drinks out of 1 canteen, 1 full drink out of a can of soda, 3 full meals out of a chunk of meat, 1 out of a can of food... etc.

I use the water bottle very infrequently, due to the fact that there's so much Cola and Pepsi in Chernarus. Maybe i'd use the water bottle if it was possible to refill it when it rained. Or refill it Bear Grylls style...

Like a large abundant of soda within a day is a good thing.

They need to add 'water bottles' in the game, not the army bottles, but retail disposable ones.

I support this but you should have a chance of getting sick by doing this. I think we should filter or boil our water before consumption. (water filter! new tool)

Should be able to drink from water sources directly if you have an empty soda can or an empty JD bottle on you.

But with Rockets' diseasey plans about to hit, I wouldn't want to try it.

Why just drink half way when you are already "in the source"?

Judging from the size the bottle should hold 1-2L of water.

The altered consumption has a basis. IRL you would have at least 3 proper meals a day but you would be there 24/7 and couldn't log out. And with the overabundance of food supplies that's not a problem atm.

no matter which way you look at it, humans, in fact all species, survived for millions of years without the aid of military issue water bottles, our hands when cupped make great vessels from which to drink. Of course water bottles have the advantage of being able to carry water around with you, but it is insane that after 20 fruitless minutes franticly searching for a drink it is possible to die of thirst while kneeling in a lake full of fresh water.

in all honesty you should be required to boil the water to make it safe to drink, or risk getting sick
