T8TRG8TR 17 Posted August 2, 2012 I've heard Dayz Commander is a lot better than Six Launcher. Also I've found Six Launcher doesn't show all available servers anymore, so it's annoying to join with friends. Is it easy to change? Will I have to do anything besides just downloading Commander and launching it?
GeordieMarv 293 Posted August 2, 2012 Not really.Uninstall Six first though, install commander.enjoy.
T8TRG8TR 17 Posted August 2, 2012 Not really.Uninstall Six first though, install commander.enjoy.Do you mean it's not really better? Will it at least not block servers from showing up so we don't have to spend 10 minutes finding a server?

grezvany13 56 Posted August 2, 2012 I've tried DayZCommander, although I don't like it at all... Reason: all I can do is start DayZ, while I also play other mods (and vanilla).I agree it's much simpler and a lot faster then SixUpdater, although SixLauncher is a mix between both.If you only play DayZ; DayZCommander is a perfect tool, but for everyone else is SixUpdater a must.Oh... and about the server listing; DayZCommander is missing a lot of servers too, let's say the same servers, since they both use the same system to retrieve them.Best solution: start the game without connecting to a server directly and use the in-game server browser instead.
dotjosh 363 Posted August 2, 2012 Let me kn ow which servers DayZCommander is missing so I can investigate.. I'm aggressively caching servers now on my own servers (where the list comes from now), so if any are missing, provide me with the names so I can figure out what's going on.

As long as we can all find the same servers we're fine. I haven't switched yet but I'll post here if I run into any problems when I do.
Dok Faust 1 Posted August 2, 2012 Commander is better than Six, from my experience.Just seems to run a lot more smoothly.
treshold82 28 Posted August 2, 2012 DayzCommander has this friend-search which is quite neat feature :)
Trundle 6 Posted August 2, 2012 I have both installed and have not run into any problems. I've been enjoying Commander more because it offers more features. Features that you would want.

It appears in six launcher though :/.
rallii 10 Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) DayZ Commander, FTW! It has much more useful filtering options. Also, it displays whether the server is in day or night cycle. Edited August 3, 2012 by Rallii
