1.62 - 1.62.95389 - WHAT?

Ok. So I'm trying to join up with a few friends on a certain server. I have the 95417 beta patch installed. When I looked at the server on the multiplayer menu, it has a red X on it. It says:

"Version: 1.62"

"Required Version: 1.62.95389"

I tried to install the 95389 patch, which I did, but nothing changed apparently as it still lists my version as 1.62. How do I fix this?

Make sure "beta" is enabled in the expansion menu (in the main menu screen)

Did you remember to overwrite your original .exe with the beta one as you did with the 95417 patch?

You need to copy the Arma2oa.exe from Expansion\beta folder to the Arma 2 OA folder. Thats the solution.

did try to copy the file to A2 OA folder but nothing did change for me

Revive from 2012, hugely out of date.
