The Alt+F4 easy fix!!!!!!!!!!

4 people combat dodged on me today, and that got me thinking, what is an easy fix for this whole Alt+F4 glitch? Simple, why not make it so when you log out of DayZ, you have to wait 10-20 seconds until it actually logs you out? That way your character would be vulnerable to whoever is shooting at you if try to combat dodge. Who else thinks that this is a good idea?

There's a difference between disconnecting and alt-f4. Basically when you alt-f4 you completely terminate the program on your computer so there is no chance for the game to log you out. Unless what you're saying is the person who does use alt-f4 would have their character remain in the same spot after they do so?

Yes please, but I thought they already did this.

The player's avatar could stay in the world up to 20 seconds after no signal was received.

They're already trying to implement this, but the ArmA 2 engine is preventing them.

Just so you know, you are definitely the first DayZ player, who has also played a MMO, none of the previous 950.000 players have ever been near a MMO we only play CoD and BF3

If someone disconnects, I don't really get all that mad. I had the drop/outplayed them and they are just cowards. I still won either way. I say the simplest and most brutal way to fix this would be to make it so if a player tales player damage or goes into shock and disconnects, their player is killed in the master server and are forced to fresh spawn at reconnect. Gauranteed that would stop 100% of players disconnecting.
