I chose to be a female gender and somehow in game (even after restarts) im a boy.

Oh, BTW, never choose female, because female characters can't equip ghillie suits or camoflague clothing. Other than that, I don't know why it's making your character a male. I've never experienced that glitch.

I have had this happen as well, only way to fix it is to die and choose female again when given the option. Find some zombies or run through a field that should get you dead pretty quick? :)

Yes, you may have an option to choose gender after you respawn.

But you may have to die first.. by a zombie

Not quite true when I first started playing I was made male by default, was not until I died that the female choice was given.

A friend of mine had the same problem, he had to get killed to change genders.
