Banned from US 382 Random DayZ

If this is true you should play on US 2135. I don't ban for this - mainly because the only stuff I have is on my person. :P

    New Server: US 2135 Dallas

Noticed you online tonight, good to have you! Yes - as far as I know there are no clans which consider 2135 their home. Some friends of mine and myself play on the server but we're not exactly organized. We were out in Cherno tonight repairing a bus - then took it for a little drive through the countryside. I don't shoot on sight! <--- Medic. I will defend myself though. Most of my friends are also friendlies. PS - seems like the server is having some connection issues but it seems like mine may not be the only one.

Holy SHIT biggest fanboy war ever.

I really think this depends on the developer. PC to console is a toss up based on who is developing it. If the PC version is developed with the fact that it WILL be ported to console in mind, it can make the game really bad. I agree that most console TO PC ports are pretty bad, PC to console ports can turn out fairly well, but usually due to costs something has to give - be that polish or game play or something.

    I need help!

Familiarize yourself with the surroundings and look for land marks that might show up on the map. Also, when I restart I find it a lot easier to run from zombies and lose them when entering/exiting buildings. Get to know which buildings are enterable, and which have multiple exits that you could potentially lose zombies in. (Zombies can only walk inside of buildings.) Not necessarily true. Admins can adjust the config file so that even veteran and elite servers have the marker on the map - you will still need to find a map on all server difficulties though.

Wait... so you're a fanboi... hating on other fanbois? lol Ok. /joking I haven't read the other thread nor do I care to. If Rocket wants to port the game to consoles, fine with me as long as the PC version isn't poorly developed. Some games which have been released on multiple platforms have been really great... others become locations for dust colonies on store shelves. Hopefully, Rocket just does it right. Not necessarily true. If they poorly develop the game on PC because they're thinking it will be easier to just "port" the game to console if its set up in a similar format, it could definitly have detrimental affects on the PC game.

lol... You took the heli and not the A10? -.-
  9. Hey, the FN FAL would be nice if the ammo were a little more abundant...
  10. Is this questionable? 14.08.2012 17:04:02: <Player name, IP, GUID> - #41 "de\compile\object_vehicleKilled.sqf"; object_setHitServer = compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "\z" Today after getting home I have noticed a lot of these from a few (4 or so) players over and over again.
  11. @jwiechers - Awesome thanks. One thing I noticed under the createVehicle.txt is that "Medbox0" is in the first line but commented out in the 4th. Is that how it should be?
  12. Are you sure all of the stuff that is in the createVehicle.log is legit? It seems to log people spawning in's backpack and player skin with a location of 0,0,0. I see "MedBox0" spawns and "DZ_Alice_Pack_EP1" in mine with coordinates not being 0,0,0.
  13. I believe its for any create call. But it seems like when I player logs in the make create calls for their backpacks and current skins. 12.08.2012 23:41:59: Brandon (70.160.46.193:2324) 1fe1fd4753b4dc2c6765bacd38fb7c2a - #0 "MedBox0" 8:160 [10517,2286,6] 12.08.2012 23:41:59: Brandon (70.160.46.193:2324) 1fe1fd4753b4dc2c6765bacd38fb7c2a - #0 "MedBox0" 8:164 [10515,2289,6] 12.08.2012 23:42:00: Brandon (70.160.46.193:2324) 1fe1fd4753b4dc2c6765bacd38fb7c2a - #0 "MedBox0" 8:166 [10521,2276,6] 12.08.2012 23:42:00: Brandon (70.160.46.193:2324) 1fe1fd4753b4dc2c6765bacd38fb7c2a - #0 "MedBox0" 8:167 [10520,2290,6] 12.08.2012 23:42:00: Brandon (70.160.46.193:2324) 1fe1fd4753b4dc2c6765bacd38fb7c2a - #0 "MedBox0" 8:169 [10523,2278,27] I think is more what you should be looking out for.
  14. So I'm looking over the vehicle log and it seems like it records people who are logging in? I see a lot of "Bandit1_DZ" followed by a backpack. I'm guessing the items I should be looking for are the "MedBox0" spawns? Also how to the coordinates work? I'm not finding a relation to the map for DayZ.
