So i find a radio and i start really thinking about it..... whats the REAL purpose to have a Radio drop RARLEY? ...... think it Really does give out Random cordinates ??

The real purpose is to make you think that an item from Arma, hacked into Dayz, is legitimate.

Actually they are legitmate, they don't have a use yet, but they are pretty much the most rare item in the game, possibly excluding mountain dew. They can be found on dead army zombies.

It has no use at this time, and they are far too rare to actually use it for "radio channel" chat because you would just be talking to yourself. It would be a nice feature to make them more common and have a different channel aside from group/vehicle/(third one i don't remember).
