Do I lose items when I swimming?

Pretty sure most recent update it was all fixed? though bugs are deadly and annoying so dont get your hopes up, my advice collect tin cans and go swimming, if they drop then no its still broken, if they stay, then woo :D

It's a server setting, but it seems you do lose them on most servers.

And to the people above. It wasn't a bug, it was a feature.

They simply added the choice to disable it.

Depends on the server.

Servers can disable/enable the feature now.

To test this, drop binoculars/nvgs/backpack/rifle/inventory at the beach.

Don't worry about handgun,gunbelt or toolbelt.

Place one disposable item in your inventory, a can of food and swim for a minute or so.

If you lose it, you will loase all of your geart after 20-23seconds, if you keep it, your gear will be safe.
