Skully (DayZ) 6 Posted August 1, 2012 Well we finally thought we found our server that we wanted to make our lil HQs...Especially since we found a vechile and repaired it. We raided couple towns with grocery/hospital stores and putted all our medical supplies + food/water into it and headed out. (had to fight few people since they wanted our car)we found nice place for our base, had 3 tents on us, manage to set up 2 than third one despawned after being completed setting up.We than Raided NW twice (second time in middle of night after taking a break), lost a buddy in process but manage to get out with alot of ammo/automatic weapons.Filled up our tents/car to max and were pretty much set.we than set up defense around the base with wires/tank traps to keep people out, if they should somehow find our tents/car(best defense possible not everyone has toolbox on them)So we loged off finally with my friends made sure to save all car/tent billion times. I get on today and all of it gone, like as if the admin just cleaned the whole server. no tank traps/No Wires/no Tents/No Cars nothing.=p LONG STORY SHORT------------------------Need new server so that doesn't have these kind of stuff happen, i dont mind the supplies dispearing, but i am annoyed that wires/tents are gone too(sometimes it a pain to find a tent, especially since you want to stay on one server) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Hakultair 114 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Just so you know.. There is a bug where after a server restart all static objects don't load in, such as wire fences, tents and vehicles... That could be the problem on your server... Reaper0516 2 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) On the sever that is basically hosting my teams tents are having the same problem but instead keeps despawning our weapons and spawn like 20 tents out of no where, and if you shoot a vehicle it kicks you from the sever and respawns a new one full heath and fuel cant even shoot a helly down x(P.S its US 1340 Edited August 1, 2012 by Reaper0516 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
theo@theodormay.com 49 Posted August 1, 2012 My server is in New York and I see low pings from most US players. It restarts at 5am CDT so most likely you wont be playing for it to affect you. We have a community member who lives in Seattle and pings between 70-80.We reset at 5am/pm and 11am/pm. These times may seem odd to some but it ensures #1) Stability. #2) Frequent and fair chances for access to good gear via chopper crashes!Our admins play daily and are nearly always available to help.Admins will never interfere in game play in any way.
