Because too often I end up without a sidearm and I'm not a bushwookie, I prefer looting cities instead of sitting on the outskirts and shooting players. AKM is powerful, has a bigger magazine, not as loud, uses ironsights and is accurate at longer ranges as well. Found one in a deerstand and I find mags for it everywhere.
