I just got it going to meet a friend at Blotta airstrip, so I stopped, opened up advanced video option and turned the texture detail to high or normal, and it sorted it on the fly, But no doubt it will come back at some other point in my playthrough. It happens to me whenever I look at something military everytime.

Use keystroke [shift] + [numberpad minus] together. No menu/console will appear, but immediately type "flush" on your keyboard (without quotation marks). This will reload all the graphics and such. It doesn't work for everybody, but it works for me every time.

As for the patch, we'll get it when it's done as people have said. :P

Nah,I've tried all this:

Flush

Scenecomplexity

Randomly playing around with my video settings (seems like the only thing that works sometimes)

Change shadow value

Go into map, alt-tab, go out of map

Rebooting computer

Rebooting the game

Let steam search for missing files

Cant thinkof anything more, but I'm sure I did try some more things.

judging by him locking the pending update thread concerning this patch saying it was locked for 1 hour and its been locked for 24 hours im guessing we wont see the other patch till next year. 10:35 AM yesterday that thread got locked, and it still is, nice one rocket, nice one, real nice.

and tbh, what most dev's do or did, was release a quick hotfix for the things that makes the game unplayable, IE the Artifacts, and THEN you can go crazy on all the other stuff that takes longer to fix, you dont release a game that cant be played, and then you patch it up to playable, so i dont know where the mentality got lost because it did and someone needs to find it again.
