EVERYBODY HACKING, ON EVERY SERVER!

I understand this is an alpha, but nobody is going to want to continue testing it if you dont do something about the insane numbers of hackers these days. It was never this bad before. I cant go to ANY server without finding some retard with an AS50 thermal on them who teleports right back to you and kills you after you kill him. You cant go to any server and setup a camp because these pricks all have radar hacks and find you and your camps wherever you are. This game WAS fun but ive really had enough of these hackers. Battleeye is a fucking joke, please implement some REAL form of protection to stop these assholes from ruining the game for everyone else. kthx

Its getting more and more serious. When my clan's server becomes the thunderdome because a hacker changed how the server spawns people, or someone is head shotting people in rapid succession moving targets at +1000 meters without missing at all its a pain for my clan to legitly repair our vehicles and help gear out our fallen comrades, much less enjoy playing the game. We have lost 2 camps and several vehicles to hackers using the radar esp.

I was unfortunately on a server during a hack, turning everyone into goats and teleporting them around the map was amusing to someone. You just get screwed and start over. I suggest figuring out the mechanics of the tents, and having a few spare camps on diffrent servers so as not to lose all your gear in one hit. In regards to hackers, i have found tents with guns not in dayz, i have found cars that clearly were hacked. I have seen bombers, I have seen cherno on fire. Luck of the draw. its a problem but you just have to deal with it, or stop playing. I have no problem with the fine snipers, you can hit a target with the as50 from a long ways off, it takes skill but its not a hack. look up the shooting range for dayz, try out a few guns on there. It's hard but not impossible.

the whole server i was just in just got teleported into the water, as two guys on the coast sniped us it was amusing seeing how i just died earlier and didnt really have anything, but if i had things i would have been quite pissed, Maybe they should explore other anti-cheat option. I had not seen many hackers up till today, 3 times in one day is a dramatic spike. Each time it was someone teleporting everyone to either NW Airfield or Elektro.

I have all of the above and I VERY rarely see hackers. Also a nuke is a nuke, doesn't matter what part of the map you are in or what skill level you are at.

Regardless, you haven't posted pictures, videos or provided anything other than a pointless rant.

A spike is not usually indicative of a pattern.

I'm sorry to shoot you guys down, I want to stop hacking and posts like these are counter-productive.

If you stop feeding the hackers your tears you may find a few go hungry. Until then send your substantiated complaints to battle-eye, they are tasked with stopping it.

Private severs. Must be whitelisted to join, anyone can ask on the forums and must be allowed to join. Easier to keep tabs on people and lock out the hackers, plus abusive admins would have empty servers once the word gets out.

This is a battle eye problem and rocket has few options available to deal with hacking.

I do like your server idea, it needs to be fleshed out a bit more before something like that comes reality

Would you please shut the fuck up and stop being a fan boy for a game that is clearly getting ruined by hackers. This is a cheat report forum, people report cheats here. People like you come in here to act like there is nothing going on and everyone else is CLEARLY wrong while you are right. Just stop with the bullshit already! I run two servers, I have just forgot about one and left it for the public and the hackers, fuck em. The onther one I password protected because i was sick of the fucking hacking EVERY FUCKING DAY! I still have a full 50 man server and we play with NO HACKING at all. You know what has happened to me since I passworded my server? NOTHING, no warning, no black list, NOTHING. I have a great time and dont worry about little punks like you crying like a baby or hackers screwing up my fun. Until something is done with the hacking I will password protect my main server and I urge all other admins to use this feature. I pay for it, I play on it and if people dont like it...HAHAHAHAHA, I dont give a fuck.

You didn't report anything though. You came in here to talk about a problem that we already know about. If you had come and said "So and so is hacking, here's my proof" then it would be fine, but you just made a post talking about an already known issue.

If you don't like the hackers then keep your server password protected and get over it. The only other option is to quit playing. Everyone realizes hackers are an issue, but that doesn't mean we need to have a million posts telling us so.

Every death I have now is a hacker. I seriously want to know what servers you guys play on, if there's no hackers for you that's amazing. It might be because I live in Aus and play at different times to you guys, but every US server I join is just overrun by fucking hackers. I can't even get one snippet of god damn footage without hackers. I just looked over the 21 videos I have, and I have about 6 of them hacker related. It's getting to the point of wanting to circumcise myself with a pair of nail clippers.

4) Unsubstantiated claims LOL do you even read the cheat reports? You can make a report and its buried within a couple of hours by a mountain of others. Dont kid yourself. I think we all agree that there is a problem but i have faith that the days are numbered for those who cheat and otherwise exploit the game. Hacking / exploiting is a prepetual issue with games and always will be. I do feel Thrasher's frustration but i can also see that its something we as players have limited / no control over.

As for me ima just strap myself in and roll with the punches - all you can do at the moment.

Teleport/demigod hacks in US123 today. Was with a group of 3. They teleported and killed my GF, then teleported to me (I GTFO'ed), then teleported to my friend. My friend unloaded an AK on him, which did nothing. He then started talking in direct to my pal, saying, "LOL, what're you shooting at bro?" My friend left immediately.

So then we went to US125. Found a tent set-up just north of Kamenka near the western border. GF was raiding it while my friend and I ran toward her. Someone teleported to her and killed her. She made note of where she was. The 3 of us met up and ran to the camp (got there ~45m after her death). All was gravy. Raided the tents, then flattened the bastards.

3-5 minutes later we are running to Stary from said camp when a jeep literally spawns 2 feet away from us with 2 people in it. There were tents full of AS50's (aforementioned flattened tents), so we were armed to the teeth. I personally unloaded an entire magazing (10 rounds of .50 BMG) into the driver-side window, watching blood spray out of the driver's head. Altogether we probably put 20-25 rounds into the jeep. The two passengers got out as we were reloading. We confirmed at least 7 hits on one of them. Nothing. Didn't die, didn't run, just stood there and started to return fire. As he was returning fire, dozens of loud explosions started happening around us (strangely, none of them hit us). We all left immediately. Managed to all escape alive from that one.

Don't feel like playing anymore tonight. 90% or more of my deaths come from this bullshit. Thankfully I can dupe a copy of my current gear into a tent so that I'm not absolutely fucked when some kid hax my face off. Well, until said kid uses his tent-locator hax and flattens it.

The banwaves just aren't enough. The vulnerabilities themselves must be fixed. I'm beginning to doubt that Rocket/devs have any amount of control over the Arma2 resources that need to be fixed.

Properly-written standalone DayZ now, please! Such an incredible idea/mod. Such a pile of shit for an engine.
