The duping has killed the game for me. Was playing with my friends, but they started duping because they said most people are doing it. I even thought it was hard to do at first or had to go out of your way, but this guy comes up to me. Hits esc and g same time, drops his weapon comes back and still has his weapon.

I seen them dupe backpacks full of stuff, so ya think im just going to wait until the duping stops.

Good luck with that man. From what I understand, it's not a DayZ issue, it's an ARMA2 issue. (A bit harder for Rocket to solve on his own)

I mean, there's so many ways to dupe things. I had to figure out how to do it just so I could stop doing it because it was happening at random so often. I agree, it's making the game a bit dull, my solution would be to avoid hanging out with your friends (kill them if you have to), play on your own in a different server.

It's a bit of a generalization to think everyone's doing it, I'm not (purposely) and neither are all my friends.

I really want a solid group of people who aren't huge dupers/etc. Maybe have a decent backup camp for when hackers just blow up a server that way when we respawn, we have some gear, but not completely deck it out.

Anyone down? Maybe a group of 3 or 4, 5 tops. My steam is:

There is actually nothing for you to complain about. The mod is free so you never wasted a thing other than your time. If you don't like it, thank Rocket for allowing you to participate and move on.

What other people do shouldn't really effect you. You will die regardless and yes, it sucks a lot that there's a lot of hackers / exploiters etc, but it's really not as common as people try to make out. When the game advances, they will be banned anyway, so who gets the last laugh then?.

If this were a game that you had paid for as a finished product, you'd have all the right in the world to complain, but since it's free and in alpha, either report the bugs or move on.

I found a box in a hospital to keep replenishing its loot everytime i exit the loot menu. Example: I look into box of medical supplies and see 10 Painkillers, 10 Bandages, 5 Blood Bags, 5 Morphine i think "sweet!" then take what i can/need and exit. Then i remember i might as well put some into my backpack so go back to the box and find its still got 10 Painkillers, 10 Bandages, 5 Blood Bags, 5 Morphine after i took 2 Bandages, 2 Painkillers, 3 Morhine and 2 Blood Bags. I then think "eh...wtf?" then proceed to test it by taking all some more and trying the box again. It kept resupplying itself so i kept taking Painkillers to see if you can overdose and after 20+ i came to the conclusion that you can't.

Was it something i was doing? Or a bug? (Note. I didn't take anything more then what would have been in there even though i couldn't fit it all in if i wanted to).

What was the point of this post? I already knew this, so I stated that duping made the game boring. I did not care if other people did it. It was my friends doing it caused it to be bored. I'm not sure why you wanted to take a stand, and tell me it is a alpha when we know already.
