Digital things you can look forward to purchasing with real money: Backpacks, food, drink, medical supplies, XP bonuses, camo, hats, and other survival gear. All for sale in a survival game....

How can anyone think a pay to win game developed by a pay to win company is going to worth playing? Just because some random person we've never heard of claimed in an interview that WarZ was in production before DayZ doesn't mean it's true. There are either a bunch of gullible morons here or a handful of shills. Fuck, just look at their "screenshots".

In war z cash is apparently next to useless ( as it would be in real life ) and gold is the new currency. However, you will not be able to buy success, and players wont want to trade you their items for gold. They will perhaps want m16 rounds for food as an example that happened a lot in the alpha.

The core concept of that game is buying success. Pay to Win games are designed to get money from it's players in any way they can. That's the entire goal of the game, to make money. So they will sell anything and everything they can to do so.

Their Zombie mmo was indeed started before DayZ, however they did admit on the IGN interview they changed their game BECAUSE of DayZ.

So yeah, it's a fucking DayZ clone build for the market.

Right now, I don't understand the hype for it, it's only promises propaganda and edited screenshots lol

the WarZ was not in production before DayZ it was in concept. And it didnt have a name they blatantly mimicked DayZ with their name choice and did so right after Paramount Pictures put in for IP Trademarking and Copyrights on a World War Z game franchise based off of the upcoming movie inspired by Max Brooks book World War Z. WarZ has potential but it most certainly did not come before DayZ and doesn't even have a working model of the game yet. All it is at this point is a few story boards and a couple of pictures claiming to be more, have you seen any trailers, videos, beta acknowledgement other than a 1 page website that barely functions? I'm sorry but if a game has been in development for over a year I'd think we'd have heard of it before now and would have seen some footage already.

DayZ has been in Development for 4 months and we are playing it. WarZ has been in development for a year haven't even seen 1 sec of gameplay footage...

Yeah, neither DayZ nor WarZ invented their naming concept. "World War Z" was a book published several years ago that was about a zombie apocalypse. I think it coined using the letter "Z" as shorthand for zombie apocalypse.
