Well see for me it just depends on how my day went (i play at night) if it was a good day i usually ask "hey man wanna team up whats ur skype" that usually works i mean srsly when u just say friendly that doesent do shit all it just says is that either he or you will shoot each other in the back but on the other hand thats what makes this game thats what makes it realistic in the real world thats how society has been ruined if there is a zombie apocalypse or ANY type of apocalypse where the government isent in control i bet that 60-70% of people would be "bandits" dont cry about it just play along , play with friends, play with dignity dont just hide if i see another player thats armed idc unless hes aiming at me if he doesent know im there i just say "hey im just passing through dont shoot" that has always worked for me because the other person knows that i have the dignity to not take advantage of him not seeing me and shoot him. stop being a crybaby man up you wuss. jesus you n00bs are ridiculous.

I disagree that this game is failing. But I do believe it is making alot of new players turn away because it is rediculously hard to start out in this game with no weapon whilst players who have been playing for some time are sitting waiting to spawn camp you with 50 cals. Alot of people don't care, they are happy to do this to new players, just be aware though, its going to turn alot of new players away and create a bad mentality within the game.

I don't want to help or make friends with the steam summer sale kids. I want to roll up to

the hills over cherno in my UH-H1 with my fully kitted up 'clique' and splatter them with my AS50 from 800m.

So some steam summer sale kids go back to COD or BF. No great loss. BIS has their money, and has that many $$$ more to fund the Dayz stand alone. People aren't going to stop buying Arma II because a few people are crying that it's too hard. Dayz will continue to be a success.

I ate my fair share of .50 rounds in the beginning, just like anyone else who has stuck with this game. Learn and persevere. This game isn't meant to be easy or accessible. The challenge is what makes it addictive. No one should stop PVPing just to make the game easier for new players. Can't handle it? Maybe try www.hellokittyonline.com instead.

Not at all ridiculous, just because it does not have a group function (not implemented yet) does not mean its not a co-op game.

It's up to players to decide if its a co-op game, if two players can team up it becomes a co-op game.

So, you just snuck through the fringe towns. You got some sweet hardware from the deer stands or wherever it is you get your weapons. You have a sniper rifle, and an assault rifle in your backpack. You have matches, a hatchet, food, water, heat packs, morphine. You're all set. You have everything you'll ever need.

Now what?

There is ways to do the game more coop.

* Make the zombies more dangerous. they must be killed by headshoot (have u ever seen a movie when an zombie could be killed by a shoot in the stomac?)

* Let there be zombies in the woods too where u dont expect them to be.

* also zombie-hordes would be nice.

If u do the "PVE" harder u will force player to play with eachother to survive.

Half of the problem here is in fact the lack of things to do after a player is really fully equipped.

Deathmatching, random banditry and the infamous "shit on sight" are just consequences of the lack of features (a problem that will be addressed, we all hope but, hey, it's an alpha, generally we should expect major features in early beta stages).

The other half of the problem are indeed griefers, pro-wannabe and softcore players pretending to know what rocket wanted from this mod (I remember a post where he stated that it's up to US, players/testers, to determine the course of this mod in a deathmatch fest or a true survival pseudohorror game with good and bad guys).

To everyone assuming this is a pvp-oriented mod: you are wrong, rocket never mentioned it but never negated it; it's entirely our fault that the lack of "endgame" features allowed us to justify our behavior.

A player should asks himself a question: why am I shooting?

Boredom and lack of contents are not answers.

Keep in mind that I'm not against banditry, snipers, killers, robbers and such, I'm against the killing for "the lulz" and for "boredom/lack of features".

P.S.: it's impossible to avoid retards on community forums so, the easiest way is to ignore them (L2P, carebear and TL;DR are the common replies from this kind of players). It's not impossible to have a civil discussion, just ignore them.
