DE 484 - Admin abuse

Sadly I cannot prove anything unless someone can confirm being on this server for the last 3 hours or so. They've restarted the server twice to make sure my friend and I couldn't loot their bodies. I'll come back to that matter later.

So it all started when my friend found a URAL truck and to fix that we needed fueltank parts, engine parts, 2 wheels and scrap metal. He was rolling around trying to find parts when I stumbled upon a female player at a gas station in Vybor. I made my way close and shot her (this is the great white north, unless you only have a hatchet - I shoot). Only seconds later I see a white pick-up truck driving in circles 100m away from the dead female player. I thought this has to be her friend waiting for her to loot or perhaps fill some jerrycans. I quickly ran closer to the vehicle and emptied my M4A1 CCO magazine in the back windscreen and got a confirmed head shot. I ran up to the pick-up truck and checked the gear. I found lots of jerrycans, scrap metal, 1 wheel, 2 engine parts and 2 fuel tank parts. I thought, you've got to be kidding me! I barely saved the vehicle when the admin kicked everyone on the server and restarted it. This happened only 30-40 seconds after I killed the driver.

I was devastated, I killed 2 people fully looted and they would be gone IF they restarted the server the pick-up truck would be gone. I nervously refreshed the server for several minutes and finally it came back up, and luckily the vehicle was safe. I quickly drove to meet my friend by the far NW corner of the map by the URAL spawnpoint, "Skalka". We fixed what we could fix but we were missing 1 wheel. So my friend started his journey south to find the wheel.

Along the journey he visited every single city until he came south of "Zelenogorsk" when suspected admin and a couple of friends wanted to revenge my vehicle theft and started firing at my friend like crazy. He surprisingly survived with 6k blood and broken bones. He patched himself and we decided that the wheel hunt was over, so his journey escalated north now.

When he was 2000m (+,-) south of "Skalka" he stumbled upon them once again and they tried to kill him once again. When he was safe again, we thought this might lead them to us. So we barricaded our self on the top of some rocks at "Skalka". We were now 450m away from the URAL with full vision over the battlefield.

As we suspected they were coming. We both had AS50s and they probably didn't have a single clue where we were, so we definitely had the advantage. I spotted 2 guys crouching towards the URAL truck and waited for them to check the gear to shoot them. I shot once at the guy slightly behind the vehicle - he was dead. The other guy panicked and started running to a corner (strange, yeah), I took my shot - he was dead. The problem was we only saw 2 people and we kinda knew the last one was either covering the other guys or lurking close by. My friend got impatient after 2-3 minutes and ran down to loot the bodies. Suddenly a M4A1 CCO started shooting and broke his legs and was immediately unconscious. I desperately searched everywhere to try and find the last guy. Then I saw him. Sprinting towards my friend. He stood above him and I finally had a clear shot - boom, dead! Sadly he shot my friend before I managed to kill him. 10 seconds later they shut down the server. And it haven't come back up yet.

Final words

I know this won't prove anything, but I just wanted to share the story with you. They're probably going to rename the server and we didn't get the IP adress. So my final point is, it's really sad that admin abuses their power when we managed to kill them honestly, without any abuse or cheats etc. It's pathetic! If you can't play the game fair, even when you're an admin, you're a big coward! Thank you!

TL;DR

My friend found a URAL and we started searching for parts to fix it. Then I found a pick-up truck and killed 2 people to get it. They restarted the server. We drove back north to the URAL and fixed everything except 1 wheel. My friend traveled south to find wheel, met bandits (admin and friends), barely survived, came back north. We waited for them, killed 2, my friend wanted to loot, last guy came and shot him, I shoot the last guy 1 second too late to save my friend. Then, immediate shut down of the server!

Edit 2: The server is running again. 2 player names I recognize from the current player list: Mitsu and Tatsu. Again, they might not even be admins

So after all that has happened the profit is:

- 4 murders

- 1 bandit killed

- lost a pick-up truck with weapons and supplies

- lost the ural with only missing 1 wheel

- my friend died and lost AS50, FN FAL, military clothing, coyote etc etc

- and finally, the admins will continue ruin the game in the future for other players

I honestly can't see any profits made for me or my friend.
