Recommended Posts

i was banned from a server (US 767) for server hopping and i did not meant to do that.

my character was at NW airfield.

first i joind a server then heard gun shots near me as soon as i spawn so i disconnect.

then i joined another server but it kicked me for some reason.

finally i join the server that banned me for server hopping, instantly banned.

i'm innocent.....

You should have stayed on the server you logged on to the first time. Logging out due to gunshots is not a valid reason. Besides, who does logg out on the NWAF except for server hoppers anyway?

Yes hopping to another server because you heard gun shots is server hopping

You logged out in an obvious server-hop spot (NW airfield).

It's very insecure, choose a safe place to log out or die when logging in.

You server hopped, and you got banned for it.

Disconnecting right after hearing gunshots, in my opinion this is pretty shitty behaviour and you might call it server hopping. So yes i think you deserved to get kicked.

so that's mean joining a server then get spawn killed is valid?first ban for such reason...

Yes. "Spawnkilling" as you call it is a legit way of death in DayZ.

Logging out in the barracks is stupid and only done by server-hoppers.

You are allowed to quit game before you engage in a gunfight. Whereas disconnecting within a gunfight is considered as an exploit.

You are innocent in this case.

He disconnected to avoid danger that was close by. That is an exploit. It is basically combat logging.

it is not combat logging if he is not in combat.

with that stated, yeah sounds like a risk you took by logging by an airfield - that's generally not a good idea.

You are a smacktard for logging out when you heard gunfire. Grow a pair and learn to play.

However, you cannot be banned for server hopping so the ban should be lifted despite your actions.
