To everyone saying that hackers will just respawn their gear and you will not have a standing chance against them without your current duped gear. If the hackers want you dead, you are dead. They can kill you with a command, without any weapons at all. You do not have a fighting chance anyway, so why not enjoy legit gameplay while you can? I voted yes. A hive wipe would make me and my friends play again.

They should implement somekind of autosave when someone takes something out of a tent/vehicle or put something in it. Cant really be bothered with dayZ before this is fixed, eventough i doubt it ever will be until the standalone. Having 10x of every weapon in your base and go CoD style in elektro/cherno isnt really that fun, as we have other games for that. Abit off-topic, i apologize.

Are these private hives dupe free? Would also love to play on a server where duping werent possible, so you could play as intended.

You find like 50 AS50's in the debug plains border. Search for 10minutes, and you'll find a camp with all the weapons you will ever need.

M24 can be zeroed. Its personal preference.

There are some admin who abuse their power for such reasons, but there are very few. My recommendation to those who have experienced such abuse is to eighter find a new server to play on and to report the matter with visual proof such as video or a photo to the dayz developers.

Rules are rules, and are to be followed. But in the current situation we have due to the overwhelming amount of hacker attacks, we kinda have no choise other than to take action ourselves to keep our environment and our community safe. If Battleye or the DayZ team could handle this issue as it should, then we would not need to take action. I am a paying server admin, and i refuse to let cheaters reduce my gaming experience while testing this alpha mod. I have never, and will never use my admin tools on innocent players, only confirmed cheaters who only try to ruin our experience for their own enjoyment. English is my second language, just sayin.

I am also probably shutting down my server after the first lease. This is out of control, and i really refuse to use all my spare time to monitor and defend my server from hacker attacks as it is now. I am still buying the standalone when it goes live, but i probably wont host a server again due to the circumstances.

It is a bug in BE i think. Has happend to me and my friends to. It is a rare case tough.

Hello. I see some players getting kicked by BE for scripts restriction #57 and #125. Also sometimes for BE client not responding.

+1 for the hive wipe. Miss the old dayZ when you actually had to make an effort to gear up.

Does anyone know what these messages means? Rcon has been spamming them for dayz. Could not connect to BE master Update attempt failed

I hope this ban was directed to people removing map content such as tree's and foliage. Would make my day, seriously.

Try to ask multiplay if you can get permission to access the required logs and server files, so you can protect your server properly. I am pretty much looking at the logs all the time now. Alot more than i actually play the game, just to keep my community safe.

Helicopters isnt everything. I barely fly mine. My advise to you is just to forget about that heli for now, play the game with your clanmates and have fun. Sooner or later you will stumble upon someone flying it, or you will find it at its spawn. If you are 30players then atleast one of you should see it flying above cherno or nwaf or something. Then you can start looking.
