Am I the only one with a near-perfect DayZ?

No graphical glitches, no stupid errors, no over-the-top bugged zombies, no hackers...nothing.

Even for the first time in my DayZ career has everything run so smoothly. I was playing on a US server last night [so I had 250+ ping] and it was beyond smooth; no frame rate lag...nothing of the sort.

I then switched to an AU server [for I am Australian] and had < 50 ping, but it seemed like I was playing single player, as the infected died as soon as I pumped the sufficient rounds into them.

Everything seems perfect for me.

I hope the best turns out for the rest of you.

EDIT: It appears that I'm not alone. Hooray!

Yeah things were perfect for me too after about 250 hours in DayZ. Recently I've discovered a whole A4 page-worth of dupe camps (containing about 50 NVG & GPS total) and have come in to contact with at least a few hackers too.

Myriad bugs and server hoppers/alt-F4-ers are kind of part of the furniture now though...they're unavoidable no matter how long you've been playing.

share the secret lol my computer shud be running the poop outta this game yet i get bad FPS dunno exactly what it is as i dnt know how to check it in dayz , but i can handle most intensive games very well

whats yur video options screen look like what you got selected in each one ?

I think its down to computer knowledge/experience and hardware specifications!! ;) plus some fuckers need to learn to read !! >:(

Me been computing for 30yrs, so never had any problems that cannot be fixed within an hour!!! :D

Maybe. Bear with me here. MAYBE all of the reports are from the Devs themselves trying to ward people off from their precious game?

I own a US server and I'm in Australia. I have no connection issues, and lag. Some red de-sync.

I was fine until the update yesterday. Now I get the nasty graphic artifacting issue.

Before that, there was a week or so I couldn't play while stuck in the debug wilderness. I think that was the entire 1.7.2.5 time.

Funnily enough, it runs fine for me too, always has.

I did make a post ages ago about what settings did what for a member who was having fps problems.

I'll link it incase any one is interested but with the recent additions of atoc , ppaa etc then it may not be an ideal config to follow.

I've always had a good experience playing dayz. Ran into one guy that was invincible but I got the hell out of dodge, never been a victim of a mass server kill or anything like that. Found many camps none of them not-legit. Never found any "vehicle hoards" only 1-2 vehicles at a time. Met lots of friendly people AND not friendly people and had great experiences with BOTH. Most of these "forum" problems I don't experience.

That being said my roommate gets the weird graphic glitch its a simple simple fix

hit your SHIFT key and the minus (-) key on your numpad and then type FLUSH (there won't be a chat box but once you type flush it will activate)

I think the glitch is with people who have 1gb- less video mem. Just a guess? <_<

I have gtx 480 with 1.5gb ram and never had any problems at all at 1680x1050 resolution!! <_<

See that guys I said resolution, look it up instead of fucking complaining !!!! >:(
