Best items in zombie infested areas, not at deer stands...

Hello People.

I have a suggestion as the title of the thread is saying.

I want the best items to be found in zombie infested areas, not easy to be found akm at deer stands. At deer stands and such places should only be ammunition and general loot.

This idea came to my mind when I was investigating a village full of zombies. But there was nothing to be found, not even general loot.

This should be changed ASAP, to make the game more interesting. Finding a good weapon should be a joy for the player. And luck.

The way it is now, villages full of zombies have no function at all. They are only there to annoy players wandering around to the next city or deer stand.

Do you agree?

I had no idea good things spawn at deer stands. I was under the impression that 99 empty cans, 5 smoke grenades, and an AK didn't qualify as good.

It's not exactly hard to find anywhere else.

My goal is to make zombie infested areas more interesting to the player. What is wrong with that.

At small villages you can get decent things. Last small village I entered I got 2 canteens, some ammo for my revolver, binos, food and drink. You might as well check out the small villages, usually there are no players about. Unfortunately my naivety got me killed before though! I was nearly dying because of food so I had to sprint around a village looking for some, couldnt find any, headed towards a barn and boom. :P

Thats what I mean. There should be more general loot in villages, including drinks and food. And some good weapons, surrounded by zombies. This would be fun.

Well, ok the small villages suck and should probably at least have more food and stuff but the idea with the zombies surrounding a good weapon makes this sound more like an RPG than what Dayz should be.

Isn't DayZ a RPG somehow? I see it as an RPG and a shooter.
