  1. You're not supposed to lock your server. You can be blacklisted for this :P

Lost my chat due to a LADDER

Um, when did they make millions of dollars with this project? Unless by project, you mean Arma II, and by "them", you mean Bohemia Interactive. You're an idiot -_-

    GTFO

Love this community :D Tbf, there are a lot of hacker. I agree. The fact is though, you don't have to pay for this mod so why would you say don't buy it? Also, it's only in its really early stages so dont give up just yet.

    PvE DayZ servers petition.

I guess he could implement a system where you have 2 character then? One for a PvP, one for a PvE? Still, if this was ever going to happen, which I doubt it will, it would be close to the final release of the mod.

    Blocking VOIP while playing Dayz

Firstly it's impossible. Secondly, I'm pretty sure that it's illegal no?

    PvE DayZ servers petition.

Right I cant see this working mainly because players are the main threat in DayZ. Seeing as all servers are linked, this means people could hop on a PvE server, get lots of loot, then hop back on a PvP server. Solution seems simple though; simply let these "private" server (DayZ sanctuary etc) have the ability to turn friendly fire off. I'm sure Rocket will implement this feature in the future. Personally I wouldn't use it as I love the tension in the game, but so what if people don't want to PvP. No need to attack them, as most of you do, without even backing up your argument.
  8. It's really easy to loot Cherno/Elektro with no equipment. You see, most people tend to try and snipe people from afar. Most people also have awful aim. Simply run into the town, run into all buildings, when you finish you should have everything youd ever need to survive.
  9. There is already a surrender animation... Go into options and controls, then set it as a button.
  10. Yeah, I was on a server where I was talking to this guy. He only had a hatchet whilst I had an M16. We talked then parted ways. Moments later I was taking fire from another guy. I go prone and try and flank him. Couple minutes later I see someone running past me, so I shoot at him. Terrible at aiming , it took me so many shots. Whilst missing I realised that this guy was in fact the guy with the hatchet, yet I still kept shooting. After he died I looted the body, fortunately he had useful supplues for me. I felt awful. I then seen another guy running from zombies so I just sprinted at him, shot all the zombies and patched him up, then walked off. Hopefully this made up for my sins :3

Theres a Cheat report section btw. Just for future reference.
  12. I was thinking this actually. Use girl skin, talk to some sex obsessed 13 year old with lots of gear, get free stuff. Then I found out girls cant use ghillies so I'm gonna stick with a guy :(

New server rules (Less work for everyone)

I think the problem is the devs have too much on their plate at the moment. This is an alpha, there is a lot of work to do. And I agree, I know for a fact admins will abuse, but the fact is I believe there will be much less admin abuse as there are hackers as these admins actually pay money for their servers.
  15. My idea is simple. Instead of restricting admins from banning everyone and making the dev team ban every single hacker in the game, give the admins power to ban people. If someone abuses this power, blacklist the server. Simple! Why would this be better you ask? Firstly, I believe there are many more hackers than admins. This means that if admins had the power, there would be so much less work for the dev team to do banning people. Secondly, who's more likely to break the rules? An admin who pays £50 a month for a server, or a player who pays nothing and when he gets banned can just join another server. This clearly seems a much better way to do things, no? If you disagree please tell me why in a civilized matter instead of the usual community attitude. Secondly, for these repeat offenders, I think the Devs should set up a database for admins. When they ban someone, they add their name/id to the database. When this ID appears 10 times, a dev could maybe look into it and issue a global ban? I am not sure if dev's can issue their own global ban or if BE is the only globals. If its not possible for dev's to issue global bans, then simple make these repeat and proven ID's public so servers can be wary of them. Thankyou for reading, feedback would be appreciated.
