hazzard65 64 Posted May 23, 2012 If these are already suggested, apologies.- A thermometer, maybe part of the GPS unit?- Visible breath during colder temperatures- With the proposed ability to change clothing, warmer clothes retain heat better. Different clothing types to consider. - During the winter seasons (based on local server time like day night cycle) wells, water sources and drink cans freeze. Thawing is required by a fire.- More intense thirst requirements at noon on clear sunny days and or warmer temperatures. Sun stroke - Dizzyness, vomitting(dehydration)?-Sweating in warmer temperatures leads to zombies 'roaming' towards your smell when down wind or close proximity.- Sleeping bags, allowing you to retain your temperature outside of a structure (IE dangerous areas) when logging out. That's all I can think of right now :)

GIGABIT 1 Posted May 23, 2012 Pretty awesome ideas.Maybe your characters' hands would start to shake in cold temperature, making aiming harder. This could be countered by wearing gloves or something.
duddbudda 33 Posted May 23, 2012 how about not having to build a fire to keep warm at noon on a bright sunny day?rocket got trolling down to a fine art

An_Orphanage 0 Posted May 23, 2012 I agree that freezing to death on a hot, sunny day is bull, especially in a coat and kevlar (have you worn kevlar? it is quite toasty in the sun). I'd be much happier if standing in the sun restored temp, even at the cost of needing to hydrate more.
hazzard65 64 Posted May 23, 2012 Standing in the sun does restore temperature... my friend and I were freezing in the overcast and when we migrated over to another server where the sun was out our temperature began to increase relatively quickly... could be wrong but I am pretty sure that was what was happening.
