Who knew it shot so far.

So from my post earlier, I still have that kind dead mans M16A M203 and I was playing around with the aiming on it since I never used it before. I set myself up on the edge of the forest outside Elektro up by the barn and picked off a few zombies at the barn, then I saw the tower of the fire hall flicker a bit. It was nothing other than a figure moving way in the distance. So, I take aim, and fire a test shot. I see the impact on the wall RIGHT beside the window he's looking out of. Poor bastard had no idea what was going on. I took 5 more shots, only three of whiuch hit him as he tried to climb down the fire tower. I lost sight of him. Adrenaline still pumping I'm smiling due to the fact that I even hit him from that distance. I leave iron sights and I hear rustling. I get up and turn around and run without caring to see what was beside me. I turn around with alt and I see a man with a fire axe standing over where I was. I turn and he instantly goes prone. I spare two bullets for his two eyes. Murder count goes to two. Satisfied that I defended myself from a sneaky assailant I eat a can of beans. Murder count goes to three. I'm sorry unknown man in the fire hall. I normally aim for a quick kill. Bullet to the head, quick painless. But you. I shot you in the knee, and the stomach, and the shoulder. None of which were enough to kill you, however I suppose it was enough to send you into a bleeding coma until you died a slow and moist death. I'm sorry unknown friend, thank you for teaching me that my M16A can shoot as far as my old CZ550.

Picked up an M16 off a corpse a few days back. Had never shot one. Scared myself a bit because of it's fire power. Promptly traded it for a good ol' M4 off the poor bloke I blasted to bits and buried that M16 with his corpse.

Beautiful weapon though.

I had a M16 acog once, but I traded it to a friend for a L85 though.

here and i was just thinking how much i like my M16.

i used to be all into AK's or civi guns, but the massive amounts of STANAG ammo around and the accuracy of an M16 is very awesome as far as an AR goes

The M16 w/ACOG is a monster of a weapon. I have never died using one to this day.

I had the m16 with the grenade launcher this guy came up on me with a m4 i just blasted my mouse with burst on and got his m4 in stead :D

I simply don't get why you people would trade a perfectly good M16 for the inferior M4....it doesn't make sense.
