Map markers

Are map markers server specific? I logged out last night with about 2 markers on my map, log in today and there is around 5 new markers around devils castle that were not there before.

Whats the go with this? Not an issue, just curious.

People can make marks on the map and you can see them. They are all server specific.

You can also delete them by hovering your cursor over them and pushing "delete"

Ok thanks, still a little bit confused so can i see what other people are marking or?

Anyone on the server can make map markers, everyone else can also see them when reading their map.. so be careful not to put one where you are or where your heading to or you will have made yourself a sitting duck.

Yeah a lot of people don't know about this feature, I once logged into a server where there was three markers at the NW airfield and they were saying stuff like "meet here", "get this here" and " I have a car due south from here to stuff loot". I wrote next to the markers "go here if you wanna die" and "I went to the NW airfield and all I got was this lousy marker".
