Just started thinking. The people who are using private hives could test some of their own things in the servers, like how the people are reacting to some certain settings and perhaps mods. After that they could show some data how the people have been reacting to it and it would safe time and testing from rocket and the other developers, don't you think?

The amount of hackers is same in every server, was it alt hive or not. There is over 700 servers and only some of them are alt hive servers, do you really think that these few servers have bigger than 2% effect on the results? Also most of the people play in the official hive too so it does not effect on the results of rocket's testing at all. This crying about alt hives destroying the mod is useless bullshit. There is real things that are destroying the mod, but it is not alt hive servers.

Does it really? I thought there would always be douches coming and killing the players or hackers nuking the area or some shit.

I wish people formed an trade area in servers, no one would be allowed to have guns in hands there. This place is chosen completely by the players of the server, it would be marked in the map, fenced so there would be only one entrance and it was guarded so bandits and such would keep away killing players. Probably wouldn't ever work because the game is full of douches.

I started playing in a alt hive server something like week ago and all i can say it is way nicer than the normal server because the server builds up community of people who starts to organize attacks and raids cities (not being a clan, just having random people from the server who wants to join them). Recently there was few raids to bandit camps and vehicle hoarder camps. That is way more realistic than having a different server every day with different people.
