Where access admin tools to see player names.

Recommended Posts

I'm an admin and relatively new to ArmA in general. In veteran mode, if you see a player you suspect is cheating or using hacks, how do you identify him? Is there any server tools to do this?

Got killed by a guy earlier today who I strongly suspected was cheating, but I couldn't even see his name.

Edit: It has to be this guy in this thread. http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5503&page=2

He was on our server too, and the incident happened in the exact same place.

Your best bet is a combination of the RCon GUI and Battleye Extended Commands (which includes logging) coupled with judicious observation, and a pen and paper notepad system on your desktop to take down player names, GUIDs, etc.

Regular browsing of 4chan and reddit, as well as a ten-dollar one time subscription to Something Awful, doesn't hurt either.

What Mojo said, and your console log which displays any text that shows up in the server connection info etc is stored in the cfgdayz folder named server_console.log.

But if you can't see his name it's not much use.
