Are certain servers preferable for tents?

Recommended Posts

My group has lost EVERYTHING in our tent TWICE within 2 days. There is no way someone took our stuff, because our tent had over 50 items, which requires more slots than a single person can hold. The server we placed our tent on only had 5-10 people on it at most, and very few people pass by the forest we placed our tent in. We frequently saved our tents as well, so that certainly wasn't what caused the problem.

We live in the U.S. however, could this be the reason why a server located in LU(Luxemburg?) won't save our tent properly?

I've set up tents by myself before, and I've never had a problem on the U.S. servers.

Is our best bet to choose a server close to home?

i dont think that would be the reason. it may have been a bug but my first guess is someone stumbled upon the tent and said person looted it twice.. i know if i found a tent and looted it then i would return to it again and chance my luck.

There are tons of people playing this game. I have set tents up where no one would find them before...and my camp was raided in a few days. Just bad luck, get used to it.
