Dear Admin, Your server is absolutely rife with cheaters. There are too many radar hackers on there to list, but (if you care, and he's not just one of your pals) check your logs for a Carter_d between 2100 and 2200 CDT last night. After he and others teleported in on some friends of mine, killed them, took their vehicle... he and 3 others showed up later (I do not know if the others were just along for the ride or were in fact cheating) - tooelitetobeat was one, the other escapes me. My friends gunned all three of them down, you will see their names in the log as dying. (This was at the edge of the map, southwest of Kamenka) Less than a minute later, Carter_d is back and has teleported in behind Pandemonium, kills him, then kills Tazzman and logs out. We have fun killing the obvious radar hackers that are running us down in the middle of nowhere with low server population, but the tools that simply can't hang without using egregious script hacks are emptying the game of players. Thanks for hosting your server.

Didn't even need to fraps anything, since you morons actually got BattleEye script banned from your own server. Players, do yourself a favor and stay away from this server. They are duped to the hilt, spawning stuff, and hilariously getting banned.

Interesting ballistics visuals for those interested: However, does anyone else find it odd that we spawn "unarmed" because "not many people have guns" (which is hilarious, especially people who've survived apparently WEEKS after this outbreak) but we all now spawn with "ballistic armor"? I don't mind the nerfs THAT bad, but if we're talking realism here, let's go with more melee weapons (improvised or otherwise), and so far I am 0 for 20 or so on trying to make one-shot headshots with a Makarov... is that expected behavior post-nerf? I KNOW I am making the headshots, and they are not dying. (At least, I am seeing the blood spat on their dome).

I think you should start with no legs and have to crawl to a hospital and find ultra-rare spawn prosthetic limbs. And when I say "you", I mean that directly and not collectively.

With the stealth-nerf of pistols in the Arma2 engine itself, could we get the hatchet moved to secondary slot (or even just the option to go primary or secondary with it) and perhaps a rarer spawning Fireman's and/or Woodcutter's axe that does more damage and most importantly has a longer reach? Really dig the melee options for the stealth and visceral nature.

That assumes you truly did "unload an entire clip" and that all of those shots actually hit. In every online game since dial up, these stories tend to be heat of the moment horror tales... and upon further investigation (demo, other players side of it) it was REALLY 3 shots fired, and only 1 hit. 7 shots of 1911, all to the chest, still kill a player.

I have run all three, and currently run Mumble and Ventrilo. I only keep the Vent server up because my mother in law uses it in Minecraft and I don't feel like switching over. I have 10 to 25 people in Mumble at all hours, and no hit on my connection at home (15/15 fiber) Mumble is simply the better choice because it's open source, though you might have to use your brain a bit since the options it gives you are fairly robust.
