Hey, So keep in mind guys that you can file a small claims suit for like 50 bucks, and if they lose they are required to pay it. So those of us who had hundreds of dollars on file could very easily sue hfbservers and force them to give our money back. Unfortunately Anthony Henson is still the person on file with the state of ohio. So you would be required to sue him. You do not have to be left penniless here, and as a matter of fact you should do it in order to keep these guys from running off with your money. Also, dude who sent the e-mail about the new service. Since you were in hfb when it closed, why dont you shoot us the contact info for the new guy so we can ask for our money back he ran away with?

So has anyone been able to contact these guys and get their clanpay money refunded? I have a lot in there as well and am just trying to get it out. I would hate to have to go to small claims over something like this.

My server is on the public hive. Day z staff have clearly stated that the rules for server admins dont exist anymore and are not enforced. I could lock my public server, ban who I want, and otherwise do what I need to do. Now I dont lock my server or abuse any of that crap, but if I feel the server would be a bit safer even without proof I will drop a ban now. Clearly been stated throughout these forums that I can now. Even the hosts are dishing out packages for the public servers that were only reserved for private hives now. I have no proof you were the hacker, and I did not submit anything to the community ban list or whatever because I banned you on mere suspicion. I havent seen you around on the server either. So I doubt you lost much. We had a pretty full server at that time. Banning a suspected hacker and saving the server from grief is will worth it in my opinion.

Per Day Z, we as server admins no longer have any rules that we must follow. So it is irrelevant to have proof or anything. But you were banned because there was a hacker, and you were suspected as being him. We have no proof, but merely suspect. And that was enough for us as we are relentlessly hacked everyday. Find a different server, or host your own.

So today was an interesting day for hacking on US 3542. About every ten or so minutes we ran into hackers. We managed to reguarly catch them and ban them though. A few were teleport hackers, a few were god mode, and we had a incap crow hacker as well. Here is a video of a God Mode hero skin again, the flavor of the month for the scourge to dayz:

Zombies are not a concern in this game. So these are the options: Kill zombies for no reason. Loot more stuff for no reason. Fix vehicles for no reason. Play running online for no reason. Or You can kill zombies to find a gun faster, loot a few places so you can get back in the game faster. Fix vehicles so you can he where you want faster, and run to your corpse when you die. All of these support being a bandit, and putting myself into pvp situations. If it wasn't for pvp this game would have never took off. If you have issues get to the north, get armed, and do counter banditry I've you will. We like killing, we like it more when you about back. And on killing a fresh spawn it may be boredom, or a difficult shot. When I do snipe I don't see people for 10 minutes or more sometime. So if I see someone I am taking a shot. There is also something satisfying about nailing a 1400m shot through a 12 inch slat, when all you can see is a blood sprite. Also, bandits kill escorted indiscriminately. So its not like your the only one who has to watch out.

I agree zombies are kind of worthless right now. I would still play without them, but think they give a good ambiance. Here is a typical electro spawn: Spawn in, run straight for the west fire house sharing all zombies. Climb into tower instantly losing all aggro. Hopefully find a gun. Glitch through ladder to outside. Climb down ladder. Rush,market, food, drink, Alice pack, tools. Rush northern firehouse, lose aggro and,loot the same. Rush hospital, lose aggro on ladder and loot up.. If I hear anyone in town while searching I look for them and kill them. AK or m4 draws aggro. Just run wherever and lose whatever aggro in,any building,instantly. If no pvp left, leave. My whole point is zombies are no threat at all, and don't deter me in town. My solutions would be to improve path finding, and let them spawn in more places. Have some zombies shambles along, others stay idle in their location if spooked, and have some buffed zombies that you have to deal with if they aggro. Zombies lightly spawning in the forest would be great too, you would have to be carefull. But as I stated, the current state of the game they are irrelevant unless you ride the short buss and wear a helmet.

Check out this hero skin hacker bullshit. I panicked and sprayed everywhere, but there was more than enough shots to drop him 5 times over. He killed me, talked shit, walked out never needing to bandage and shot my friend.

Shoot everyone on sight. It is what makes this game playable.

So we were dicking around and figure we would raid the NWAF on our server. We headed a bit north to park our vehicle while we looted. Shortly after parking the car I heard another vehicle and we hit the deck. We took a guess on the direction and found a car, headlights on a few hundred meters away. The video explains most of the story: Watch in HD of course, and sorry about the audio desync at the last few minutes. So this guy fires a single shot at god knows what, so I lob a nade, then a flare because We have no NVG's. I run around like a maniac shooting at the car and shit I see moving. In retrospect, watching the video I am sure these guys are like right next to me the whole time too. My buddy gets the first guy as he runs straight at him. I get the second dude trying to get my friend. We loot up and these guys have NVG's. All we can figure is that the flare I dropped must have flashed the NVG's, and they made them useless. A few minutes after I cut off the recording their buddy logged into the camp and killed us both. A bit later I saw him driving through zeleno to kamenka. He dropped connection, so we went looking for the car. Found it crashed and exploded into a tree. Was a fun little engagement. These guys thought we were hackers who teleported to them too, lol.

We had a hacker consistently hitting us when we had about 30 people on, and couldnt identify him. So we dropped it for a bit, put it back up, and he showed back up. Server has been back up for a while now.

Keep in mind, rocket has specifically stated picking up hacked/duped items and using them is ok. Because not everyone knows whats up with an item. So even though this is clear admin abuse you, the rules are out the window and they can ban/kick for whatever.

I am all for rules the rules, but if the stance is fuck the rules I am going to admin my server fair and well, but I am going to quit worrying so much about what I ban for and kick for and just do it if I see fit.
