Recommended Posts

Can you tell what I am doing wrong here? Serious help please only. I only have this problem when shooting from an elevated position.

Um. You're not using the iron sights.

Try a quick tap on the right mouse button. Then hold to zoom and steady.

The crosshairs in 3rd person are not very accurate. The Day Z wiki has more information about the crosshairs. Switch to 1st person for any kind of range shooting, unless you're enemy is at point blank.

unfortunately every guns crosshair accuracy is different Some are spot on, some are to the left of center, etc. It's weird, test it out by centering your view on something, then right click once to bring up Iron sights. You will be able to see where you are really looking. So you can "learn" to shoot without the ironsights, so to speak.
