You Are Dead screen -- Cant respawn?

Every time i die and get the "You Are Dead" screen, i hit respawn and nothing happens... I usually end up just having to disconnect from the server then reconnect. Is this normal?

Yes.

Abort and disconnect back to the lobby, then click OK to reconnect/respawn back into the current game.

ah, ok. thanks for the responses. Kind of annoying but hey it is still in alpha haha
