M107 and AS50 question (game vs real life)

Why is it in this game the AS50 is portrayed as being significantly more powerful than the Barret M107. They both use the same ammunition, they both (in real life) are 1.5 MOA snipers. They are both capable of reaching lengths of 2000m. They both are semiautomatic. The only difference is the fact that the Barret is about 1 lb. more heavier.

HOWEVER in DayZ/Arma 2

The AS50 does 175k Damage while the M107 does 37k

The AS50 has 1600M Range while the M107 has 1200M Range

The AS50 is twice as quiet compared to the M107s noise.

The AS50 is more Accurate than the M107

The AS50 can use M107 12.7x99mm Rounds while the M107 cant use AS50 12.7x99mm rounds

Also, I doubt you can drop to one knee and hit a target at 1000m with one IRL.

(well to be correct I suppose I should say European guns rather than british, as the L85 was SHITE before H&K revamped it with efficient German engineering :P But anyway, the L85A2 will shoot the pants off an M4 )

I like the M107 more personaly even tought everyone say the as50 is better well for me the M170 is the best. But Im dead so my lee enfield is the best !

I wish these were removed or made terribly rare and so their ammo, plus we would need to fix magazine replenish upon relog bug as this is making them ridiculously overused.

A tank is not the same thing as a gun. Barret has been a long time maker of amazing weaponry and the M107 isn't the first .50 BMG SemiAuto sniper they have made, I personally have had the chance to hold a M95. They cost around $5000. it's ridiculous and NO you cant convert mags, you can only use both in the AS50. In real life, the Barret M107 is more reliable than the AS50 because it is able to handle dirt much better than the AS50.

Same, I've found 2 AS50s but I gave one away to my friend for his M14 AIM and lost the other to a glitch. When people ask, I just say theres only one sniper I want and thats the M107. And ta-da I found two yesterday, first 2 ever :D

And be real, the M1A1 is the trongest, fastest, well armed and most technologically advanced tank IN THE WORLD.
