Can other players see the map markers I place? The single click small bullseye type markers.

I believe if you are close enough to another player with a map they will see them when you place them.

Everyone with a map can see your markers.

A good way to find other peoples camps ;)

I suspected so after someone was waiting for me in a dear stand in the middle of nowhere on a low pop server.

Kind of screws up the realism a bit.

I've also noticed this, I would really like to mark stuff on my map, share info with my teammates.

Having other players looking at their maps seeing my stuff that I have marked is just stupid, please remove it.

I would like that anything that I mark on my map stays there after I disconnect from a server.

Map Markers - Left Shift + Double Click - Can be seen by anyone unless you place them while in Vehicle Channel.

Waypoints (two concentric black circles) - Left Shift + Single Click - can only be seen by yourself.
