Anton17 97 Posted July 25, 2012 Erm, for the people that don't know a thing about Steam, its impossible to turn off auto-update. If you check that box, its only for your current session. As soon as you restart Steam it'll be update enabled again and it'll download automatically.The only way to temporarily disable it would be going into offline mode, which never works for long term.
