landstriker 9 Posted May 23, 2012 There's much more power in who you don't kill than who you do.Exactly. In my honest opinion, you did the right choice in regards of saving those poor survivors who had the odds against them. For some reason, reading your story I imagined the two main characters from the movie "Shooter". Two guys, taking on a whole city and other baddies, walking out there without a scratch. :D
jskibo 143 Posted May 23, 2012 I've been killed by bandits twice so far in a week of play.Killed a Survivor in a mutual "scare the heck out of you moment" Was running into one of those red houses and he was coming out. Both of us seemed startled and started firing and we both died.I've passed right by some bandits that didn't shoot me, which I thought was odd. Most of the time when I run into a fellow survivor, I go about my merry way collecting stuff, never bothering to point my weapon at them. So far they have mutually left me alone as well. I'll team with folks I know, but would rather lone wolf if I don't know, though more than willing to help out if needed.I get worried on large Russian population servers as I know some Russian, but don't have a Cyrilic keyboard, so I just respond in English hoping they can read it :) So far so good
aragos 1 Posted May 23, 2012 Out of all the people that killed me in the game' date=' I think it was done by a bandit 2 times out of 50+... so now I just kill people if they come my way. Prefer to leave them alone and will if they go the other direction, but since the humanity change I still have my bandit skin and still just get shot on sight by everyone. Can't say I really mind though; taught me to be more careful in the game, where to get decent gear fast and to simply not trust anyone. Would probably be the same in RL if we lived in such a world. As a previous post mentioned; the fun is more in bandit vs bandit then bandit vs survivor honestly. No rush in shooting someone just walking doing his stuff, way nicer to hunt a bandit who is hunting you or someone else.[/quote']Recently I was tooling around with MR DELIGHTFUL and we came across two bandits who were sitting at the corners of a hangar at NE, waiting for the survivor inside to walk out so they could gun him down (they had shot at him twice previously at range and missed). The survivor had run to the back of the hangar to bandage, and both went around each side to wait. I pulled out the old M24 and set up, and MR DELIGHTFUL spotted for me. Two rounds later and both bandits were lying face up.Myself and MR DELIGHTFUL pulled out to go make a fire. The guy asked in chat who killed the two bandits, and I didn't say. Felt pretty dope to just ghost-dog away from the whole thing. There's much more power in who you don't kill than who you do.That's because you are teh God d**mned Batman. That's why.You guys rock.
