M4 holo SD = Hacked gun?

Hi, someone traded an m4 holo sd to me for an m107 sniper rifle. I just wanted to know if this gun was legit. There is a holo sight, grenade launcher, suppressor, flashlight. does this mean this gun is hacked? He said he killed two guys on a motorbike and looted them and they had m4 cco SDs and this gun.

M4 holo SD is hacked. There is a version in game but it is not suppressed.

It's not legit, I found some hacker clan base and it was on one of the tents. But you wont get banned for using hacked weapons.

I killed one guy today at cherno with lee enfield and looted that, logged out shortly.

That's the M4A1 CCO SD, it has a red dot and a supressor. Not a holo, m203 and a suppressor.

I wouldn't go by what people here have to say if I were you. It might be hacked, but keep in mind that not all weapons seem to be listed in the DayZ Wiki.

I saw someone on a Swedish forum claim that he had been told by a dev that it was indeed legit. Unfortunately that's not much to go by.

Wait for an official response from someone who has a clue (a dev) if you are thinking about dumping it, though.

Well people say hacked guns are regularly cleaned up. I'll just wait for that to happen.

I just witnessed Karma at it's finest. I dropped the gun and literally 2 minutes later I found a downed chopper with an FN FAL NVG scope. <3
