Yeah just happened to me, walking down stairs in north east airfield jail, boom - you are dead. Sucks, but if I think about all the various ways I died in the mod, I'm not even mad ;)

I think it could be interesting to actively limit your supplies (maybe only take a small backpack and not hoard food and water for two weeks), forcing yourself to scavenge on a regular basis for really necessary things and not just that pristine bipod that completes your collection. Another idea: team up with a few people, search for medpacks and storage containers, and transform a house near a spawn location into an emergency shelter, giving out survival kits (boxes with food and water) and meds. Yet another idea: Make small "campsites" with gas cookers, lamps and backpacks with some stuff for people to find or decorate rooms in some houses with half empty cans and some rubbish as if someone was living there for a while. And another one (god i'm on a run here): Kill zombies only with guns. It is really fun and you never know who or what the shots might attract (even if my only try of that play style so far didn't turn out that well ;) ) And a last one: Play at night. Really changes things up :) I can't wait for the notes to work again as well, all those possibilities...

For the item switching: It should not stop you when you have the weapon lowered while switching to another one (on your back that is). I never was just locked while running, but sometimes the character does the step over animation instead of the jump which can be deadly in fights. I'm sure they will sort that stuff out at some point.

I can understand that you react hostile towards people having experienced that many of them mean you harm. But I think killing everyone within 20 feet is not necessary. If you are cautious and watch your back you can easily outrun anyone trying to sneak up on you and you don't have any collateral damage (meaning killing innocent people).

I heard you can find it on the test servers for the next update so it will probably come when it is stable and released.

You already can combine fitting parts of the map. Like BelMarduk said.

The amount of rage I'm in when dying often depends on how i died. If it was super stupid or unfair I sometimes need to close the game for a while and listen to moonlight sonata or some other classical music to calm down ;)

As far as I know both features are on the devs list.

Be aware that you can only see one of two rows of slots in the box while holding it in your hands. Only when it's on the ground you can see all ten slots of the box.

Are you sure you are "sick" (indicator in inventory), or does it just say your stomach is full (if you are full with water it would explain why you throw up when trying to eat something).
