Any word on forcing a character to remain in the gameworld after quitting?

Recommended Posts

You know, like in WoW? Or is this mechanic not possible to implement?

Seems like it would solve a lot of what most players seem to consider unacceptable exploiting (even the people who do it openly admit to feeling this way)

There will be an attempt to fix the problem in the next patch, so now we are playing the waiting game. There are also about a gazillion other threads just like this one.

Reocket told he is working on the next version of the game with ALT+F4 exploit fix attempt. And I think it's not about dealing with it before quitting, but rather be easier to "punish" after next login.

Let's wait and see.

I don't think it is possible.

In WoW the 20 second delay to logging out works if you try and exit, but you can still crash the game out. Are you saying the character would remain in WoW even if someone crashed out? I played for a while and don't remember this happening.

Umm, that's exactly what happens in WoW. You never raided and suddenly had a tank stop moving the boss or dodging abilities only to find out that his PC crashed or power went out?
