garglemouth64@yahoo.com 11 Posted July 23, 2012 First off, they are not hackers. It is harder to set up DayZ than it is to set up scripts. People who "hack" are really script kiddies. Call them that all the time. Laugh at them. Don't post threads saying how pissed you are, post threads with screenshots and video. Post on their hack websites offering a virus disguised as a "hack". What we are doing now is fanning the flames, and calling someone a hacker might give them a rise as well. Call them script kiddies. That's what they are. +1 this thread if you support my cause.

gizm0 96 Posted July 23, 2012 is it possible for the server to disable client side scripts in the mission file?
garglemouth64@yahoo.com 11 Posted July 23, 2012 Yeah, some guy trying to download "hacks" gets a virus. I'm sure his story will hold up well in any form of legal suit. What I'm proposing is fighting fire with fire. When their links to all powerful scripts become possible landmines people are going to think twice about clicking download. And please, think more into the subject. One sentence replies don't do themselves any justice.

And don't get me wrong, I don't appreciate the hackers either, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stoop as low as to reak the law to stop them.
grezvany13 56 Posted July 23, 2012 is it possible for the server to disable client side scripts in the mission file?Yes, which is enabled by default. However, good hacks can bypass this system and makes it possible to do things you shouldn't be able to.@PyroXfire: releasing some "hack" to the public with some virus would be a nice idea to get rid of the cheaters, but still won't hit the hardcore coders... boneboys 7988 Posted July 23, 2012 The point of this Thread ?If you think that setting up DayZ is harder than typing a line of text/N°s to achieve a result. and that spreading infectious software is the solution to "hacking" !Waste of space.Locked.
