So now when temperature is a issue to consider, wouldn't it be nice to discuss some ways to keep warm? :)

Obviously people are going to suggest raincoats and such and while I agree with this I think i'll leave that idea for someone else's thread!

What I do want to suggest though is that we should be able to light the various stoves that can be found in some of the small houses around the map. They would preferably already have wood in them so you would only need matches to fire them up! Just get inside for shelter, light up the stove and profit from sweet sweet heat. Also from being trapped in a small building advertising your whereabouts! :)

All i'm suggesting really is that you can choose some kind of action when pointing at it with matches in your inventory. Once "activated" you have the sound of fire burning, a light source and an area around where temperature rises. Pretty simple really?

*Are they stoves really? Or just some other kind of heating equipment I don't know the english word for? You tell me.

I've already seen a wooden toilet-shed spawn inside a long barn, this suggestion sounds like it fits right in. They'd have to be as rare as water pomps used to be, though.

Fire means light, means vulnerability. It's just another danger factor now, and I love it.

+1, I like this. I actually hope the temperature system will be getting a lot more involved, being indoors should prevent you from getting colder, and lighting a fire should raise your temprature.

I was just playing and my temp went up while I was indoors and down while out side.

But with the hotfix I hope that the rise and drop won't be as noticeable as it was.

Yes it does. But this would be a way to speed up the process while inside. Just another possibility i guess. :)

Why the hell would you raise your temperature when indoors anyway? It's not like the heat is on! Maybe to take cover from rain, but you would need to fire up the awesome heat machine to benefit fully from moving to your own place.

Hmmm. If you have both matches and wood as an requirement there wouldn't really be any point int using a stove inside a house now when I think about it. You can place a fireplace anywhere so lighting up a house is too great a risk if you need the same stuff to do it anyway.

Yeah - would only work if couldn't light a fire in a house (in reality you would probably burn it down if you did)...
