If dying its a 50/50 chance of coming back laggy.- 30% of the time it gets laggy with low blood, but a lot of times its after respawning. See belowToday I joined a server and right as I spawned into the server, some guy wrote me in steam chat. somehow my fps were at 1! fps, and it didn't change over time. So I left. Maybe it's and issue with steam overlay?I rejoined right after that. Then my fps were like 10-15. I left again.I updated Battleye manually, going to this website http://www.battleye.com/download.html and following the instructions.Then I checked all my games (ARMA 2, ARMA 2:OA, ARMA 2:BAF, ARMA 2:PMC) through steam with the "verify integrity of game cache" method. It downloaded a very small file (like 1 kb) for ARMA 2 and for ARMA 2:OA.I joined the same server again, and my fps were better now (like 40 near the town, 25 in towns, at daytime ... but that's about what I'd get before the performance problems.)I'm not sure if anything of the above "fixed" the problem or if it was a coincidence or whatever. But this was all on the same server on a timespan of about half an hour or so and the weather didn't change at all or only a little bit.So you might give it a try and report back if it helped you. On one server everything was ok, the next one is "broken". ALSO, I notice that on the "bugged" servers, the one with low GPU usage and low FPS, if I drop something from inventory or move it from pouches to backpack (without any room in the bag it will drop that item to the floor) or vice-versa, the items which would normally should be on the floor, they just vanish/disappear and they are lost to the player. If someone else can confirm this it would be great.Specs:Intel: 2500k@4,7GHzGPU: AMD 6970RAM: 8GBOS: WIN 7 64 bitGAME: Arma 2 + ArmA OA bought + the DLC in lite versionThe low FPS is there from the beginning of the game session. Gets gradually worse (FPS) and lag. The longer I play the worse it gets. Some servers mainly all the Dallas and Virginia servers it starts right away. I ping all the servers and play on the ones with the lowest pings, which helps of course. No matter where I play though, the same result as stated above. It feels like there is a memory leak. This morning i did not experience any of this.Extra notes:Some of my friend think it has to do with zombie bodies not despawning. And items not despawning, but also not respawning. DrTyWords 0 Posted May 23, 2012 This happened some last night but i would just join a new server and it was fine. Today I can't find a game that isn't freaking out. I died at the NW airfield on day 7 and ended up getting on a different server to continue because the session was lost. The next thing I know I am at otmel and am getting 5 frames. Then I switched servers again and my character had turned somehow into a bandit with 26 zombie kills, 0 Murders, a bandit kill, and was already bleeding profusely and was at Kamenka. The next server I try I am still a bandit, Have full health but am Hemmoraging, am at Cap Golova and bleed out and die again. Not sure what is going on.
