Dogs are going to be added to the game. Why not just add dogs that are violent rather then zombie dogs. the infection is suppose to be only humans

Also add more hostile animals. Aggressive and Non-aggressive wild animals.

Also can add carrion (crow, raven, vultures) may appear and can be spotted in the sky at a distance near dead corpses (survivors or animals) and can be shootable (why? don't even know)

No thanks, fix zombies before adding anything, ANY feature, focus all your effort fixing what needs to be fixed. I cannot clip through buildings, I cannot launch myself side ways a thousand miles an hour. Nether should the zombies. All efforts must be placed on fixing the glaring issues before (also, hackers.) before adding any more features/items.

Now back on topic: zombie dogs would be a bit silly, but Packs of Feral dogs on the outskirts of cities would be really, really cool.

Maybe even watch dogs, start barking at nearby survivors (whoops sorry, bandits, everyone is bandit.)

Make them like the age of empires wolves=> small amount of food, but a threat aswell. Would be a solution of the now-safe wilderness

Wild life. I'd like to have some dangerous wild-life species in the woods.

Now, if you are out of city, in woods, you can feel relatively safe. What is needed - some bears, wolf packs, etc. Not too many, but very aggressive. And hard-to-kill.

true, but do you just want to shoot slow zombies and players all day, i know its fun and all but the only challenge is other players, zombies arent a real problem unless you get lots together but, killing before that happens then its pretty easy, i'm just trying to add a bit of a challenge you know, but i do understand that its only suppose to effect humans but they can add a side story that a different virus got the dogs

I'm for the idea of zombie dogs in the game. They should carry food & armour to be looted.

I'm also for a more violent wilderness. At the moment you just have to take care not to walk on the road 'cos there are zombie spawns. In the woods you are safe. This should be changed.

Zombie Dog, would be awesome with all it could do, i would only put about 10 - 15 in the world at a time - dont want new players dieing all the time of zombie dogs so only put a few, like 0 - 2 in the small towns

- Very Fast

- Hears Far

- Attracted to the Smell of Blood

- Spawn in Small Towns?

- Drop Meat?

- Skin for Fur?

- Rare to Find

we could have to kind of "dogs". the town dog and the wolf in the woods/hills. wolf could be howling in the nights, have glowing eyes and would be very bloodthirsty ;) no matter what, I voted for the forests because, these are so empty at the moment and a little thrill could be useful there ^^ but you have to consider, if the dog is faster than the zombies, and you just got into the game and have no weapon yet- how to get rid of it then?

I think it's a great idea, not only would it make the game harder (because it's damn easy atm) but it would add a little more realism too. I voted for the Zombie Dogs to appear in Forests, that would only seem plausible for me that dogs hunt for food there, and forests at the moment are a safe haven for everyone, I say, no longer. On a sidenote, it might not fit other players desires for DayZ, but I'm all for some sort of Mutants or Superzombies and or Zombie Soldiers with body armour/helmets that can take a couple more shots.

+1 to the violent dogs/wolves idea. It's a nice throwback to Resident Evil, but I don't think it makes sense, unless the virus is evolving. I think having wild animals in the wilderness would be an awesome idea, making the huge areas between towns more dangerous would make the game much less boring in my opinion.

More wildlife in general would be a great addition I think. Right now the whole map seems pretty dull. It would be cool to see a pack of wild dogs or a couple deer in the forest. Stray cats, squirrels, bears fuck I don't know. I think this is an easy way to bring life and unscripted events to the game with minimal effort.

Regular dogs, neutral to humans, agro to zombies. trainable, additional care, compliment to both squad operations as well as the lone survivor. city dogs in cities (security based skillset), military working dogs (same as city dogs, more offensive capability) near military outposts. same health mechanics apply. No loot drop, except meat, can carry a low slot ALICE pack variant.

Working dogs are already in ARMA 2, just my 2c.

If we can hardly hit zombies running all over the place since they're so glitchy. How the hell are we supposed to hit a smaller target that's even faster and powerful? If all the dogs have became infected too, then what about all the cows, rabbits and boars? surely they would have to be infected as well.
