How can i identify a hacker in my server

Recommended Posts

Hello...

Iknow this topic maybe was posted before but i cant find any info about it...so my question is how can i identify a hacker in my server? I know the is a possibility using the FTP of my manage server console, but how to indentify the hackers in there? i mean i can see the Players IP and his Script but how can i know when they are using a hack script or they change his files or something like that i need some examples please.

Thanks for your help!

I'm not a 100% sure but I think you can only tell once bombs start dropping and A10s start flying

You have to look through hundreds if not thousands of lines of text in the log file.

It helps if you know exactly when the hack occurred (like a mass killing) but you're going to have a hard to spotting guys who spawn weapons that are in dayz.

This, mass killing would be easily noticed, however a more subtle hack you might overlook.

Assuming you can be fucked looking through all the logfiles - I wouldn't bother unless someone has a time of the incident noted down
