For the Robin Hood and his Merry Men of Chernarus are upon you and your riches. My fellow squadmates and I, who are tired of the kill on sight and solely PvP dynamic of this game have decided to spice things up a bit. Things are going to change.

Since any features that promote teamplay or *anything* that rivals the benefit of just killing everyone you see are still only in the planning phase (I'm sure they will implemented eventually, but for now this is what we must do), we are taking it upon ourselves to... redistribute... the riches in the hills of Chernarus. Unlike the griefers, who only make it worse by increasing the hostility in DayZ, we will take your gear, and we will give it to those less fortunate... However only to those who do not kill on sight.

Betrayal carries heavy consequence too :) We avoid hostility if possible, but if you fire at us with intent to kill, or do kill, we will do our best to either subdue or neutralize you. We aren't big softies who hate PvP, not at all, it's great fun but DayZ also needs a new dynamic. Just fragging everyone you meet is lame. I met a gent on the coast at Prigorodky who had nothing but a hatchet. I went in to take the zombies off him and said this over VoIP, and his first reaction was to kill me with his hatchet. So I beat him to the barn we were both running to, picked up a Lee in the barn and sent a .303 straight through his chest. Fool. At this point I decided it was enough.

Hoarders are surprisingly similar with the stash locations they choose, especially in the far north west and north east corners. We have nearly perfected the science of finding the big stashes. So if you think your stash is safely tucked away, you are not as safe as you think. One of us doesn't have a job, so don't expect all the stuff in the out-of-bounds (OOB) is safe either, as he has the time to drive to the common OOB areas.

Rest assured that Liam-Neeson style; we WILL find your stash, and we WILL give it away. To everyone else: just remember, the next person you kill might have given you riches beyond anything you could achieve. Some lucky gentlemen just received a GAZ and a motorbike, both fully repaired, just for not shooting on sight. And that is nothing. I will attach a screenie soon, but we have found several camps packed with AS50's, NVG's, MK48's (once found 4 in one tent near the OOB areas, no joke) to prove I'm not kidding. And it could be you that gets a cut.

If any dev's read this, please bring helicopters back. You have no idea how much easier this would make our lives and our mission :) <3

Also, please incorporate a diary/pen-and-paper system, so we can leave notes in the one remaining tent we leave at the camps with our calling card. Currently we have to mark a map and hope that they read it. I hope they, 'cos it's the only thing left. But that would be just gravy.

EDIT: Oh, and thank you to the gentlemen on ANZ9 who had a generous stash of 4 vehicles and 11(!) tents. I'm almost sure you were duping, and I'm absolutely positive all your shit is now in the hands of kind strangers.

lol good luck son, a good stash is not a hoard of tents and cars up north or over the texture line, its a cheeky tent where no one would think to put it. also if your not ready for that to be found and looted then your not ready to play dayz

out of interest where do you keep your hoarded loot after stealing it? hoard?

I have 2 ATVs 1 Ural 1 Van and a Offroader, about 8 Tents packed to the teeth with guns and supplies, I challenge you to find me :D

Name the server and we'll find it haha ;) It won't last though, bucko, the chase is now on.

Oh, and one cheeky tent is no biggie. We don't mind that, it's actually quite cute. It's tent cities and multiple vehicles that get our jimmies going :P

So you go where the players avoiding conflict hide? I've yet to be poppped up north even from contact with other players,we tend to skirt each other with caution. All my deaths were NWAF,Stary and of course the beach front cities of love and brotherhood. I think you are misguided.

Anyhow, our real target is just kill on sight PvPers, there just needs to be an incentive not to. Striking fear into the heart of hoarders is just two birds with one stone :)

Last night I found a stash of seven tents in the middle of the woods right at the north east, I took everything I could carry and stashed it in a verchile that was there, drove around for 5mins then was banned from the server, I think it was an admins camp and they felt like being an asshole about it (Maybe cheated and could see me driving away on the map, when I looked at the server after there were 6 people on it so I guess if they were looking at a map then I was the only person up that way)

Still, even though I was kicked, when I respawned in another server I was still carrying your kobra with 17 clips(my pack is full of it now), so I still got some of your good stuff

I dunno what they were thinking of doing but they had about 3-4 of each weapon in tents and craploads of ammo

I had good stuff anyway and had better weapons in the verchile I was driving but the kobra looks insanly good.

I was planning on going to a secluded valley and firing off some rounds with each weapon at some animals and see which weapon I liked the most but ill settle for keeping your nice gun for being an asshole about it.

We don't generally frequent one in particular given there are only so many vehicles to each server and therefore only so many stashes. We do also lead the way to vehicle spawns that need repairs if we've given away all our stock

LOL no a duper made sure our shit vanished last night. All the trash we trashed reappeared like tribbles and wiped our good stuff. So its back to dodging hackers who spawn at the 6 and ambush us so we can score moar beans n pepsi and whatever else the deer stands care to bestow upon us. The search is all the fun. BTW if you ever wanna link up and counter sniper in Electra let me know.

I wish you luck in your endeavors! I myself am somewhat of a hoarder, but mostly because I've been very active looting and cycling barracks spawns in the NWAF, not from banditry. I have had to defend myself from a few people, and admit I have a KoS policy at the airfield (comes from asking 2-3 people if they are friendly, only to have each of them instantly blast me).

If I'm not at Stary/NWAF though, my policy is much more up in the air. I'll generally let someone move on as long as they don't threaten me.

Right now though, I'm actually thinking of taking some of my spare weapons down towards the coast, finding random newbies, sniping zombies/bandits off of them, and either giving them the weapons directly or alternatively trying to preempt their search and drop it ahead of them. Guardian Angel style. I've given about a dozen weapons away to people who didn't shoot me on sight so far.

I don't counter snipe, I sneak and put a bolt directly through their skull. They are the other players we take out; spawnkillers. No questions asked in that case. Just straight down.

its not difficult to do actually...ive thought of doing the same...

Within 1 hour, i took my atv around the outter edge of the map and found 4 camps consisting of an average of 10x tents stacked with gear most have never seen before. I also found an atv and a ural...and i wasnt even really looking that hard.

We destroyed 2 tent sites before this one like half a hour before....and none of them respawned after server restart. Will do this tent trashing thing everyday from now on :)
