Hunting with Low Blood Blur

So I logged in today and had my hatchet out.

I make a sprint in to town to hit the grocery store and had about five zombies on me.

I'm full health and get into the grocery store. I turn around to start hacking them...

My hatchet doesn't work. (it had a circle up but made a click click click sound like it was empty. I tried to reload and it wouldn't reload) I get the shit knocked outta me by two or three zombies and break my leg.

I'm crawling away shooting and then pass out. When I come to, one zombie is still milling around right in front of me.

I shoot him and luckily had a morphine shot so I was able to stand back up.

So I head out and hit the apartments... I find a compass finally and a box of matches.

I'm like ok... I'm all set... I just have to make it to the hills and do some hunting.

I sprint outta town and some how manage to take another shot from a Z when I'm trying to lose them in the hills.

Now I'm down to like 1900 blood. My vision is blurry and I can't see well enough to hunt. I end up going from Cherno to Zelenogorsk and then to Pogorevka (all blurry). Along the way, I spot one sheep with my binoculars because it appeared differently than a bail of hay. A long trek to shoot, gut, cook and eat him... I'm part way recovered.

For some reason my vision still didn't clear up. I end up running almost dead into a cow right before I started to enter pogorevka. I ended up at almost 11k with some spare food. (hunting and navigating alone with low blood blur sucks... I couldn't even read my compass... I had to get really close to street signs and use my binoculars...)

When I left cherno, I thought... I should just kill myself... but that isn't how I play the game so I pushed to survive and now I'm actually in decent shape to continue my journey.

Intense game if you play it like you would in real life... it can be really tough.

If your vision didn't come back,jsut relog,it is most likely bug if you had 11k blood and it was still blurry.

Same as when I had my hearing noise reduced,I took morphine painkillers got blood to 12k and still had my hearing possibilty reduced to about 5%...after relog it was normal.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I did relog in after I killed the cow and got back up to 10 to 11k...

My vision cleared up on relogging in. I logged a bug in the forum for it. same for my hatchet not working on login. (that triggered this whole episode.)

I think I went from around 1.9k to around 5k with the sheep (I saved one piece of meat in case I couldn't find food again).

Then the cow really put me over up to 11k or so with some spare meat.

I'm in a good position now to do some crash site searches... I just need a rifle so I may try to find deer stand or maybe a mil site.

1. I reported the bugs in the bugs forum...

2. I looked for the forum for stories... I know there used to be one, but I didn't see it.

3. You didn't offer any help other than criticism... at least post a link to the stories forum that you are so arrogantly harping about.
