Is there any way to get out of debug fields alive?

Recommended Posts

Yes. If you have food and water you should be fine. Also depends how far away from land you've spawned. Best bet is to open a map and set a waypoint marker - SHIFT + LMB.

If you have no food/water and it's over 20Km away - just respawn - otherwise run for it.

Also, if you have no map, run in the general South-Eastern direction, hopefully you'll get out, but I don't guarantee anything

Got a map ?

place waypoint ...

Never been in debug, so don't really know what it looks like, if there are any indicators at all ...

Fresh spawn: No, you won't survive the run (Starvation and Dehydration)

Glitched Spawn: DO NOT MOVE, Once you move, your character data is saved in the debug field/forest, if you spawn in the area marked "Wilderness" just abort and relog in and you'll spawn with all your stuff at the coast.

Dangit, I moved. Does that mean I'm screwed now in Debug fields? Also I have no map, so I have no idea which way I'm going. Or a compass.

And it was a glitched spawn.

Your option is to hit Esc and then respawn, seriously it'll be faster to regear than to try and run out without knowing the direction to run inland.

The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. ( find out the local server time )

Also the clouds always move in an easterly direction.

Then you are screwed. Unless you want to wait until sun sets / rises and get the direction that way. Once you have the direction, sun south-east. That usually works.

Get your bearing from the clouds and the sun. Will be rough. It could take you an hour to get to the map, so unless you have tip top items, consider if you can't just get them back within an hour if you'd play the game :)

after you figure out East, head east, it is survivable but it's quite a run, you'll continue east until you see trees and progress forward you will be on the Western side of the Chernus map once you are in the trees.

Join server "canada 2" if it has correct version. You will be in debug forest around 2 km away from the west side of the map. You need to get onto the map and relog. Worked for me.

The clouds move east, so you can follow them out. It worked for me. I was in Stary, and it plops u out somewhat close to NW airfield.

SillySil is right, this worked for me a week or so ago. Join "Canada 2" which will put you from the vast empty landscape into debug forest. Then IMMEDIATELY run EAST, or if you don't have a compass, run to the direction that doesn't have trees. If you linger there, you will be shot. You may get shot anyway, as happened to me.

Right, yeah forgot about the shooting, just leg it. I actually went a bit west then south then east and back on the map. This spot is usually camped.
