NVGs

Anyone know where NVGs are really common? I need them!

I just realized watching a lot of bandit killing spree's that most of them have night vision goggles sooo i want my own pair

But when i realized nvgs were so damn great i needed to find them ASAP so i went through the towns and i got nothing...

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?! :/

They are common nowhere, they have an extremely low chance of spawning. But I have found a pair in the southern barracks at the NW airfield.

They're most common at military encampments. Though as previously mentioned, they are rare. Prepare to be shot on sight near high-tier loot areas though.

I have had 3 NVG's on my lifetime.

1 Found on barracks at NW airfield, died after 30 minutes beacuse i bragged about it in chat, stupid me.

another 2, found from bandits I killed at night. What that makes me? spider sense on darkness.

We have stockpiled a stupid number of nvg's since release, it would not be an exaggeration to say we have gone through 15 pairs.

My advice is thus, Bandits drop the best loot.

I think he was referring to the removal of bandit skins soon, since you will not be able to tell who is a bandit and survivor and thus not be able to tell who has the best loot by your method.

It's always good to just assume everyone has the best loot. I've shot people with alice packs and winchesters that then had assault rifles in their packs with ammo.

No we don't. That's a horrifically silly exaggeration. I can't believe this old chestnut is coming up again after having many people who play on our server with us come and tell you that you're talking rubbish.

You don't need batteries.

Also, on my fourth pair currently, the group I roll with actually have a few spare that we carry around so replacing them isn't really an issue. We try to keep them out of the hands of other players though and have gone to some pretty insane lengths to ensure it.

The last thing we need is some upstart beaner running around with NVGs and a silenced weapon.

My clan mate found NVG in the barracks at the NW airfield. He allowed me to borrow them for a brief while and...OMG if I had NVG's I would never play during the day. You can see perfectly fine at night and have a supreme advantage.

they are so rare :( i have run about 20 separate raids, most on different servers, and am still yet to find any... TBH the best thing i found at the barracks is a M4A1 CCO SD, but am yet to find any SD ammo for it :/ other than that i have seen 1-2 AKS and 3 AK-74, and a bunch of G17 ammo, and tins.... thats about it.

sh!t be rare... guess ill keep at it :) then when i do, ITS NINJA TIME! :D

They only spawn in the barracks at the NW airfield with a 0.11% chance. I server hopped a bit and never found any. A few days later I killed a bandit sniping noobs in elektro and got myself NVGs, M107, coyote backpack, M9SD and a rangefinder.

Highest chance is at the helo crash sites, if there's a helo there.
