Reviving a dead person

It would be cool if there was a item such as a defibulator in the game wtich allows you to revive some one who has recintly died. There would have to be a few things going on tho for the revive to work. Such as

1.) They can only be dead for say 10 minutes before it wont work any more

2.)They cant have been killed by zombies

3.)The person being revived has to accept (This is for the reason some one doesn't PK and then revive that person again to kill them as second time)

4.)If the person had already respawned it wont work on them

5.) If they were killed by a head shot they cant be revived

And after they are up they will have around 10,000-8,000 blood and be unconsice for like 30 seconds. The Defibulator would take say 2-3 slots in your main inventory or secondary one. They would be a rare find and only found in a hospital area.

i like it :) but ofc you gotta consider shots to the chest as another tabu... you cant revive a dude who doesn't have intact lungs or heart and stuff like that.. so if you died by shots the arm and legs fx then it would be okey..

Yeah thats a good point but if u were carrying Mophine or Implenting new items such as Organs to the game you could maby save some one with a collapsed lung, but highly unlikely to do that in the situation with no real medical gear you could say. If they really wanted to (i bet it owuld take a along time) is if they mapped out the body to instant kill spots and spots where bullets would not let you be revived.

With all due respect, a defib won't save you if a full clip of 7.62 rounds was emptied into your chest, or if a 0.50Cal bullet just ripped a new cave inside your chest.

No. No its not. I thought it would be a good addition for people running in groups if some one goes down then having to run to the other side of the map to get with them.

You have a good point so make that one of the things that dosnt allow you to revive them.

This will offend the tender sensibilities of many in this mod.

It flies somewhat in the face of the "dead is dead" mentality.

I think if they introduced an unconsciousness that lasted longer, unless the player "gave up" and died and respawned, then there would be a mechanic there...

But this will most likely be met with derision because it's against the spirit of the mod, and it's been suggested before.

I'm running into a lot of threads where people say they didn't find something that could be found with a simple search. Is the search feature broken, or the brains of the forum users.

Hmmmm.

As i was saying its a idea it dosn't have to be used. Thee search does work i jsut had to look up different words than i would have used to find it.

(My spelling is not the best so i may have spelled things wrond in the search)

Too OP. My idea:

Crashed ambulances: Rare as crashed heli, spawn on the side of any road. Has a %.99 chance to spawn a defibrillator (rare as a ghilie suit).

Defibrillator: Takes 6 seconds to recharge, requires batteries to be used, has a %20 chance to revive a dead player. The player only has 30 seconds to be revived.

Battery: Spawns in residential areas, gives the defibrillator 30 uses.

Seems more balanced.

Maybe you could revive a dead person with CPR on a 15% chance to survive, deffibrilator 30% chance to survive and ambulance equipment 40% chance to survive but all of this has a 20% chance to make the dead player start bleeding on wakeup 30% chance with broken bones and 80% chance to be chocked. I think that seems fair enough. :D

Anything to make it more fair and maby something that they would put in the game
