Inception. 9443 Posted July 20, 2012 I was reading a post that some of you may have read regarding how one guy met a really nice guy in Cherno who offered to give him blood transfusions and such. OP's response to that guy's nice offer was to unload his .45 in his face.Was that really necessary? For everyone, not just him: Why make kills that weren't a necessity? You need not kill your "victims" if they didn't shoot at you. Make them unconscious [if you break their legs in the process, give them morphine if you're nice enough]. Take their equipment if it is of value to you. But don't kill them. If you see them as a threat, send them unconscious and take their weapons if you so choose. Make them suffer, but don't kill them.There's a difference between being a murderer and being a bandit. A bandit leaves his victims with nothing. A bandit makes one's playthrough of their character a tough time. If everyone where to be a bandit and not a murderer, then DayZ would be a whole lot better. But of course, I have no power to enforce this. People murder because it's easy. Because they can. If you don't like it, then form a personal vendetta against them. Make them suffer. It would be really, really dangerous.Breaking their legs helps a lot in knocking someone unconscious; I've done it before a few times. And I suppose that's the downfall [not being able to take their gun].
