Battleye: Bad player name.

I got the latest Battleye versions from the website and updated, I reinstalled six updater and launcher.

And I KEEP getting this error.

WHAT CAN I DO?>???

Update to latest Beta http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

Make sure you are running the right version by look in Arma in window before multiplayer.

I beileve the issue is with the latest beta patch so that will not work. it will be fixed in the next patch but there are sevral work arounds. The bug is with the registry entry for player name . So some say create new windows account or reinstall sixlaunch/battleeye. I tested both, they do not work. What does work is if you go to regedit to following path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA and create a new registry file, file is named: PLAYERNAME set the value to whatever you want your name to be. This is the way you can change your name in game on any windows named account.

i just had that promblem go to the main screen. have to make new person but the guy you have alive gets changed to the new person

Actually I'm wrong new beta out to fix it but people are still having issues through Six launcher. Regedit fix in post above works if you are trying to launch without beta update.

I make a new profile name and it worked just fine

I applied a registry fix and solved the problem. If you want to keep your old account you can do what I did. If you want to know just ask,
